Champagne Based Cocktails to Serve at Christmas Dinner

Blue Champagne

Ingredients for one glass
• 20 ml Blue Curacao
• 20 ml vodka
• 20 ml lime juice
• Champagne
• 1 maraschino cherry

Pour the blue Curacao in a shaker with the vodka, the lime juice and ice. Shake. Filter and pour into a glass and fill up the rest of it with champagne. Add the
cherry.


Tropical champagne

Ingredients for one glass
• 20ml orange juice
• 20 ml rum
• 10 ml passion fruit syrup
• Champagne
• 1 maraschino cherry

Pour the orange juice, rum, passion fruit syrup and champagne into a shaker with ice. Shake. Filter and pour into a glass. Add a maraschino cherry.

Cherry Champagne

Ingredients for 8 persons:
4 peaches
250 g cherries
125 g sugar
1 lemon juice
1 bottle of champagne

Put the sugar in a pot with a cup of water. Heat for around 5 minutes while mixing until it becomes a syrup. Put the cherries in it and continue heating on medium. Let cool down to around 100 degrees. Cut the peaches in small cubes. Mix the peaches, cherries in syrup and lemon juice together. Filter and keep in fridge until ready to serve. When serving pour into glasses and finish filling with champagne.

Omelet "a l'Ardennaise" With Sauce "Au Bleu" Recipe

Recipe for 4 persons

Recipe preparation time 20-25 min

Recipe ingredients :
1 big potato
8 eggs
13.5 oz spinach can
4 oz sliced bacon
1 onion
Salt
2 tablespoons of butter
1 cup of milk
4 oz of blue cheese
1 tablespoon of flour

Cook the potato in the microwave set on high power for 8 minutes. Cut the bacon slices in small pieces and cook in a skillet on high temperature. Slice the onion and add to the bacon. Reduce temperature to medium and let cook until the onion rings are cooked. Add the can of spinach and continue cooking while mixing with a wooden spoon for 5 minutes or until most of the juice from the spinach is evaporated.

Mix with the eggs and the potato cut in small cubes. Add salt. Then cook the preparation on medium temperature for about 10 minutes in a covered skillet in which you will have melted a tablespoon of butter. Flip the omelet to cook the upside.

To prepare the sauce, mix a tablespoon of butter with a tablespoon of flour, melt in a pot and add milk and the cheese while mixing. Continue mixing until it gets creamy.

Serve the omelet covered with the sauce.

Berries Extravaganza recipe

Recipe for 4 persons

Recipe preparation time: 20 minutes

Recipe Ingredients :
1 bottle of red wine
4 cups of Cherries, strawberries, raspberries, or any other red berries
1 cup of sugar
Vanilla ice cream

Heat the wine on the stove without letting boil, add the sugar and the fruits. Reduce temperature to medium and continue heating for 15 minutes. Let cool down . Pour into dishes and add a ball of vanilla ice cream in center of each right before serving.

Delicious salmon recipe idea for Xmas

Recipe for 4 persons :

Recipe reparation time: 20 min

Recipe Ingredients :
8 cold smoked salmon slices
Mayonnaise
Yogurt
4 potatoes
4 avocados
Dill
Salt
2 lemons
Lettuce

Cut the potatoes in small cubes of around 1 cm or 1/3 inch, put them in salted boiling water and let them cook for around 8 min. Remove from water and let them cool down. Cut avocados into cubes of the same size. Prepare sauce using 1/2 mayonnaise and 1/2 yogurt, proportion can be changed depending of personal taste. Add salt and dill to it. When potatoes are cooled down, mix with avocados and sauce.

Make a ball of the preparation in the center of each dish, fully cover them with smoked salmon slices, add some sauce on top and decorate with a branch of dill. Surround with lettuce and lemon slices.
